Contraindications Mebex (Mebendazole otc) is contraindicated in: · Severe liver diseases (hepatic failure) · Hypersensitivity to mebendazole · Children under 2 years · Pregnancy · Breastfeeding Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Mebendazole is stricly contraindicated for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The use of mebendazole during first trimester of pregnancy may cause damages to the fetus. Mebendazole passes through the breastmilk therefore the use of Mebendazole in nursing mothers should be avoided.
