Singing helps to restore speech after stroke

According to a new study conducted by American scientists, singing promotes more rapid and effective speech rehabilitation in patients after stroke.
The study is based on the fact that singing is engaged in another brain area, rather than for speech. In case when speech center in the brain is damaged, speech, nevetheless, can be restored the center of singing instead of it.
