Freshly squeezed fruit juice minimizes the risk of obesity.

Mar.29, 2010

Study Group of the University of Minnesota found that  freshly squeezed fruit juice helps to prevent obesity in people and reduce the risk of diabetes.
The result of the investigation was obtained from 14 thousands of Americans both women and men over 19 years of age. The results of the study were published in the journal Experimental Biology.

In the course of the study, researchers concluded that the use of daily fresh fruit juice (250 ml) helps to reduce the risk of obesity by 38% and diabetes by 52%
Also the authors of scientific work confirm that people who daily drink fruit juices do not suffer from vitamins insufficiency (avitaminosis), also the cases of cold and flu (influenza) are less common for those who not drink fruit juice every day.
Fresh orange juice contains vitamin A, C, small amounts of vitamins C, E, B-6, B-2, B-1, biotin, folic acid, inositol, niacin, bioflonaid and 11 amino acids. It also contains minerals: calcium, chlorine, phosphorus, potassium, copper, fluoride, iron, magnesium, silicon and zinc.

Orange juice or grapefruit and lemon help to clean the digestive system. Orange juice strengthens blood vessels and capillaries and improves blood circulation. Frequent drinking of orange juice will also strengthen the heart and lungs, protects against colds and helps in their treatment. Canned or frozen juices of citrus fruits do not retain all the properties of freshly squeezed orange juice.

But, despite all the health benefits, the excessive drinking of citrus juices increases the acidity and removes calcium from the body. It is therefore recommended to use no more than 3-6 small cups of juice a week. If you use more citrus juice is recommended to practice enough sports to neutralize acidity.

Orange juice is useful in inflammation of joints, problems with liver and lungs, pneumonia, inflammation of the gums, anemia and other blood diseases, colds, fever, high blood pressure, digestive problems, scurvy, skin diseases, exhaustion.

Fresh apple juice from contains vitamins B-6, B-2, B-1, A, C and biotin, folic acid, pantothenic acid (vitamin B-5). As well as numerous minerals: chlorine, phosphorus, potassium, copper, fluoride, iron, magnesium, sodium, silicon and sulfur. Due to the large amount of minerals in the apple juice, it is especially useful for skin, hair and nails.

Apple juice prevents and treats colds, flu and intestinal infections. Apple juice activates the body’s protective mechanisms, activating special bacteria that to remove toxins from the intestines. Fresh juice contains a large amount of pectin which creates a gelatinous mass in the intestines. It absorbs the various poisons and also activates the bowels. Therefore, apple juice is a powerful regulator of the intestine, it is recommended in cases of constipation or diarrhea.
