Capsiplex slimming tablets is a natural based medication, containing a mixture of Niacin, Caffeine, Peperine (extract from black pepper extract) and Capsicum extract. Capsiplex has been clinically studied and it was found that slimming capsiplex pills stimulate metabolism before, during and after physical exercises and help burn up to 278 calories daily. Along with slimming effect, Capsiplex improve performance and endurance. Let’s try to clear up which Capsiplex effect do its active ingredients have:

Capsicum extract is a traditional remedy used to increase performance. It contains large amounts of vitamin A and C, stimulates vascular circulation. Capsicum extract contains biogenic stimulators, reduces swelling and improves microcirculation, reduces pain associated with rheumatism, arthritis and myositis.
Capsicum extract has been used for the normalization of cerebral blood flow. It prevents the development of atherosclerosis, relieves bronchial asthma, cough, sore throat, flu. Due to the presence of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and vitamin P, it contributes to strengthening and cleaning of vessels, reduce cholesterol, improve blood circulation and purification of blood vessels. Large amounts of vitamin A can are beneficial for vision improvement and the formation of the skeleton. Hot pepper slows the growth of cancer cells, and the use of capsicum extract is especially useful in ovarian cancer.
Capsicum can activate the human immune system, increase stamina and even fight cancer cells. Red pepper helps with diabetes, high blood pressure, insomnia, arthritis, asthma, and alcohol withdrawal syndrome and respiratory diseases.

By improving metabolism, Capsicum extract help stimulate metabolism and increase fat burn. Alos Capsicum extract suppresses appetite and thus decrease the consumption of calories with food.

Caffeine is psychostimulant; analeptic and cardiotonic agent. It stimulates mental activity, enhances mental and physical performance, and reduces fatigue and sleepiness. Caffeine possesses stimulating effect on the respiratory and vasomotor centers.

Niacin ensures the normal functioning of the nervous system and brain, providing an activating effect on the function of the cerebral cortex. Niacin participates in the first stage of the redox processes – the formation of ATP – the energy source. Violation of this process leads to trophic disorders of the body. As a result, there are functional disorders of the nervous system. Niacin prevents and eases migraines.

Together with vitamins B1 and B6, niacin, provides the correct development and maturation of the nervous system of the child.

Niacin maintains the functional activity of the gastrointestinal tract and helps eliminate inflammation of the mucous membrane, increases secretion (production of gastric juice) and motor (promotion of food) of the stomach, stimulates the secretory activity of the pancreas (increases secret contents of trypsin, amylase, lipase) and liver (stimulates bile secretion). It is used to treat liver diseases, gastric ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer, enterocolitis.

Niacin also lowers levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) and VLDL (very low density lipoproteins), lowers triglycerides blood levels, decreases fibrinogen (clotting protein), reduces inflammatory responses.

Piperine has an amazing ability to manipulate absorptive mechanisms. It inhibits several enzymes responsible for metabolism of drugs and nutrients, stimulates the activity of amino acid transporters in the intestinal tract, inhibits p-glycoprotein, a protein pump that removes substances from the cells and also reduces the intestinal production of glucuronic acid, which will allow more agents get in the body in active form. Thus, some of these substances can reach, enter and remain within their target cells for longer periods. By increases bioavailability of drugs and herbal supplements piperine make them more effective.
In addition to its effect on bioavailability, piperine exerts other beneficial effects.

These actions include:
Increased production of brain beta-endorphins
* Anaesthesia
* Increased production of brain serotonin
* Anticonvulsant, antiepileptic action
* Increased production of adrenal epinephrine
* Decreased production of stomach acid (approximately 1 hour)
* Relief of gastric ulcer
* Increased production of pancreatic digestive enzymes (amylase, lipase, trypsin and chymotrypsin)
* Promote the production of melanin
These actions were derived from laboratory experiments, not clinical studies, and therefore the dose required to achieve them is not known

Candida albicans is a constant inhabitant of the mucous lining on the skin, internal and genitals. However, infection occurs in the case of candida disbalance. The most common causes of vaginal candidiasis(thrush) are changes in vagina acidity or hormonal disorders. In this case Candida infection may begin multiply causing pathogenic processes. Women with vaginal thrush complain on vaginal burning or itching , “cottage cheese-like” vaginal discharge with sourish smell are common as well. However, vaginal thrush is not a doom. Many up-to-date antifungal remedies are able to manage candida infections without causing severe side effects.

Diflucan manufactured and discovered by Pfizer became one of the most prescribed antifungal medications for the recent years. Diflucan is a brand name of the active ingredient fluconazole. Each Diflucan capsule contains 50, 100, 150 and 200mg of fluconazole. Each pack with 50-100 mg of fluconazole contains 7 or 28 capsules, however packs with 150-200 mg contain only 1 capsule. Besides active ingredient, capsules involve additional neutral substances- lactose, corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxid, megnesium stearatis, Diflucan is also available in the form of powder for suspension preparation.

Therapeutic action of Diflucan is determined by fluconazole that acts on fungal cells, increasing cellular permeability and disturbing the growth and replication. Fluconazole penetrates into all biological fluids, possessing a broad spectrum of antimycotic activity. The medication is metabolized in the liver and excreted with urine, nearly 80% in native state. Good pharmacokinetic indexes of Diflucan determine a broad spectrum of clinical use. Diflucan is effective in:

Cryptococcosis

Generalized candididasis

Candidosis of the mucous lining

Genital candidosis

Mycosis of the skin

Deep endemic mycosis

In addition, Diflucan can be used in HIV, tumor diseases especially for prophylaxis while radio and chemotherapy. Diflucan is effective in children, however only under the doctors supervision.

The dosage regimen in children and adults is usually based on age and severity of the disease. In most cases of vaginal thrush, only single dose of Diglucan is effective. The drug can be used before, after and during meal intake. It’s recommended to take Diflucan with a small amount of water. Withdrawal of alcoholic beverages is strongly required.

Fluconazole is usually well-tolerated. In rare cases patients complain on gastrointestinal manifestations: nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea and meteorism. Some patients experienced skin rash, headache.

In conclusion it’s necessary to underline that Diflucan is Rx medication meaning that is available only with a prescription. Do not treat yourself on your own initiative. Appropriate application of Diflucan according to doctor’s prescription will lead to desired therapeutic effect and lack of significant side effects.

Clinical studies have shown that Denosumab works by improving bone mineral density and reducing different types of fractures.

FDA decision is based on the results of three clinical studies involving nearly 8,000 women with postmenopausal osteoporosis. The study showed that the use of the drug increases bone density and reduces the risk of spine fractures by 68% and hip by 40%, non-vertebral fractures by 20% . Prolia (denosumab) is recommended for patients who failed or are intolerant to other osteoporosis treatments.
In spite of the fact that there are many options for postmenopausal osteoarthritis treatment, Prolia cn have an advantage over other PMO drugs due to its suitable dosage regimen.

Prolia is contraindicated in patients with hypocalcemia. If denosumab is indicated, hypocalcemia can significantly progress, especially in case of dysfunction of renal function.

On May 28 The European Commission also approved the application for marketing of Prolia (denosumab) in the EU.

Natazia is made by the pharmaceutical company Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals. Natazia is currently available in the European Union under the name Qlaira. Natazia is the first four-phase oral contraceptive that releases female sex hormone progestin at four times for twenty eight day in treatment cycle. Natazia contains 2 active active ingredients: estrogen (estradiol valerate) and progestin (dienogest).

The safety profile and effectiveness of Natazia are confirmed in two clinical trials with the participation of more than 2000 women in the USA and Europe. FDA’s Dr. Scott Monroe says that currently nearly 12 millions of women in the USA use hormonal birth control pills and probably these women will be interested in replacement of their contraceptives to a new more safe medication. In addition, clinical trial showed that Natazia may help to reduce excessive menstrual bleeding.

Like in other hormonal birth control pills Natazia action mechanism is associated with the suppression of ovulation via inhibiting the release of follicle stimulating and luteinizing hormone. Natazia changes the properties of cervical secret and modifies endomethrium making implantation of fertilized ovule nearly impossible.

Natazia use is related to increased risks of several serious conditions such as venous and arterial thrombotic and thromboembolic events (such as myocardial infarction, thromboembolism, stroke, hepatic neoplasia, hypertension, ruptured ovarian cyst and uterine leiomyoma, gallbladder disease).

The most common Natazia side effects include: irregular bleedings, swollen nipples, nausea, vomiting, and headache. It is not recommended to use the medication in women who smoke and are over 35 years of age. Smoking significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular complications.

It is well known that if a woman smokes during pregnancy, it can lead to a large amount of congenital diseases including respiratory diseases such as asthma, heart and blood vessels diseases, high risk of ENT infections and other health problems. The new study was focused on the relationship of mental health problems such as depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and maternal smoking during pregnancy.
Scientists from the University of Turku analyzed information from more than 175 000 children born during the second half of 1980. Children whose mothers smoked during pregnancy had a high risk rate of mental disorders in women who smoke during pregnancy. Nearly 32% of children suffered from different mental problems in those women. If a women smokes more than 20 cigarettes a day, this risk is 44%.
Smoking during pregnancy negatively affects the status of peripheral circulation in women leading to fetal hypoxia (lack of oxygen). This is because the carbon monoxide contained in cigarette smoke binds to hemoglobin in the blood converting it into Carboxyhemoglobin. Carboxyhemoglobin is not able to transfer oxygen to the cells of the body, including the growing body of a child. As a result of hypoxia the fetus develops slowly usually weighting less than 2500 grams after birth.
Apparently, mental disorders in children are induced by partial blockage of blood flow to the brain. This results in congenital abnormalities of the nervous system and mental disturbances. Down’s syndrome is very common for children whose mothers abuse smoking and alcohol drinking while pregnancy.

Evista has advantages for women of increased risk group during menopause. Results of a large, national studies have shown that Evista is equivalent to other well-recognized preventive means – tamoxifen in order to prevent breast cancer among women at increased risk during menopause. Moreover, Evista as it turned out, has less side effects in view of uterine cancer and clotting problems, comparing with women who administer tamoxifen. These results were shown during STAR research (Study of Tamoxifen and Raloxifene), which was attended by more than 20 000 women in menopause.

Good news
“This is a good news for women,” said Leslie Ford, to reporters during a teleconference. Leslie Ford is a Deputy Director of clinical research in the department of cancer prevention at the National Cancer Institute. “We wanted to show that Evista is a medication that is used to prevent and treat osteoporosis in women during menopause, that has additional advantages,” Ford said. “The medication Evista is effective in preventing breast cancer with fewer serious side effects than tamoxifen,” adds Ford.
“We think that this gives women a real choice, since every year around 150 000 women in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer. “We feel that Evista has won these tests,” says Lawrence D. Vikerhem to reporters during a teleconference.

Comparison

STAR participants agreed to take 20 milligrams of tamoxifen or 60 milligrams of Evista daily for five years. Tamoxifen has been used for the treatment of breast cancer for a long time already. In 1998, the Commission for Drug Control and nutrients approved tamoxifen for preventive use in women at increased risk. Currently, Evista is used in about half a million women in the United States to prevent and treat osteoporosis or thinning of the bones. Researchers have previously observed a lower level of breast cancer in women taking this drug. “Thus, the question arose whether Evista has similar to tamoxifen advantages” says Vikerhem.

Research results

Within four years, women in the group administering tamoxifen have registered 163 cases of invasive breast cancer, compared with 167 in the group taking Evista. “We see that comparing with placebo, there is a 50% reduction of invasive breast cancer risk,” says Vikerhem. “Thus, we interpret these data to disclose such information: Evista, like tamoxifen, can reduce the risk of invasive breast cancer.” These results did not change among subgroups of participants, including ranking by age, genetic predisposition and previous noninvasive disease.

According to extensive research conducted in the United States, a mature age of the mother increases the risk of autism in a child, regardless of age of his father.

Scientists have shown that increasing maternal age by 5 years is associated with increased risk of autism in children by 18%. Thus, for a woman who became a mother at the age of 40 years, the risk of birth of child with autism is 100% higher than in women in 25 years of age.
These results disprove the previous hypothesis that a key risk factor for autism in a child is the father’s age. The study showed that women at the age of 35 and higher age are always have a high risk. A middle age of fathers is a risk factor in case when mother is much younger than his father (under 30 years).
The study recorded basic information about all the babies and their parents in California beginning from the 1st of January 1990 and December 31, 1999. Results were examined 4.9 million births and 12 159 cases of autism.

The study is published in the online version of the journal Autism Research.
